三、120V转5V12V开关电源管理IC保护功能
     1、输出过压保护( OVP ):When the WD5200 detects that the FB pin voltage is higher than 2.4V in 3 consecutive working cycles, the chip will enter the output voltage overvoltage protection (OVP), and then the system will enter the auto-restart mode.
     2、过载保护(OLP)/短路保护(SLP):When an over-current or short-circuit condition occurs, the output voltage and feedback voltage will decrease and be lower than the output overload protection threshold VFB_OLP. If the state persists within 48ms (typical value), the chip will stop switching and enter the automatic restart mode (described below)
     3、异常过流保护( AOCP ):In some cases (such as heavy load or output short circuit, etc.), the peak inductor current of the system will rise too sharply. In order to prevent excessive peak inductor current from causing damage to system components, an abnormal overcurrent detection module (AOCP, typical threshold value 0.9V) is designed inside the chip. When the CS voltage is higher than the threshold, the internal power MOSFET is turned off immediately and remains off for 48us.     
     4、过热保护(OTP):The overheating protection circuit integrated in the AH86 will detect the internal junction temperature of the chip. When the junction temperature of the chip exceeds 150 °C (typical value), the system enters the automatic restart mode.
     5、优化的动态响应:AH86 integrates a fast dynamic influence function, which can reduce the output voltage drop during load switching.
     6、消除可闻噪音:AH86 adopts a multi-mode control method combining frequency modulation and CS peak voltage modulation, which can effectively eliminate audible noise in the full load range.
     7、VDD 过压保护(OVP)和VDD电压箝位:When the VDD voltage is higher than Voo_ovp (typical value 28V), the chip will stop working. Then the VDD voltage drops to Vop. oFF (typical value 7V) and enters the restart mode. In addition, a 30V regulator tube is integrated inside the chip to avoid damage due to excessive voltage on the VDD pin.
     8、自动重启保护:After the chip triggers the protection, the power MOSFET will be turned off, and the system will enter the automatic restart mode, and the timer inside the chip will start to work. When the timer exceeds 500ms, the chip will reset and restart. If the protection is triggered again after booting, the system will enter the automatic restart mode again.

WD5200 is a high-performance low-cost PWM control power device, suitable for off-line low-power step-down applications, with simple peripheral circuits and few components. At the same time, the product's startup module has built-in high withstand voltage MOSFET to improve the system's surge withstand capability. Unlike traditional PWM power switches, there is no internal fixed clock to drive the MOSFET, and the system switching frequency can be automatically adjusted with the load. At the same time, the chip adopts multi-mode PWM control technology, which effectively simplifies the design of peripheral circuits, improves linear adjustment rate and load adjustment rate, and eliminates audible noise in system operation. In addition, the internal peak current detection threshold of the chip can be automatically adjusted following the actual load condition, which can effectively reduce the standby power consumption under no-load conditions.
